Michael stud­ied Eco­nomic His­tory, Media Stud­ies and Busi­ness Admin­is­tra­tion at the Uni­ver­si­ties of Berne and St. Gallen. He is a social media and mar­ket­ing pro­fes­sional with a sub­stan­tial back­ground. He has expe­ri­ence in both tra­di­tional mar­ket­ing / pub­lic rela­tions and new media (i.e. web 2.0 and social media) at for-profit as well as not-for-profit orga­ni­za­tions. Cur­rently, he is broad­en­ing his aca­d­e­mic hori­zon by study­ing phi­los­o­phy at Fern Uni­ver­sität Hagen.

Michael lives in Berne and works in Zurich for a lead­ing cloud com­put­ing con­sul­tancy with offices in Switzer­land, Ger­many and Aus­tria. He is also a prospec­tive social entrepreneur.
